Darwin D. Martin House
Buffalo, NY 1902-04
The architectual plan of the D.D. Martin house
formed a "T" in both the dining room and living room areas, and afforded open
spaces to be filled with custom furniture of Lloyd Wright’s design. This
perfectly balanced symmetrical design was used in both the exterior bird house
and interior oak table designs of the Martin house. The D.D. Martin rug, with
its subtle coloration and linear elements, is readily adaptable to transitional
and modern furnishings. |
